Getting started with Buvvo
Connect your WhatsApp Business number, add products, and handle your first order.
Buvvo turns your WhatsApp Business number into a shop: buyers message you as normal, the AI assistant helps answer and take orders, and you get paid through a secure link. This guide walks you from an empty account to your first paid order.
1. Connect your WhatsApp number
- Open the WhatsApp settings in your dashboard. After you sign up, go to Dashboard โ WhatsApp to link your WhatsApp Business number to Buvvo.
- Follow the connection steps.Once your number is connected, every message a buyer sends lands in your Buvvo inbox.
- Watch messages arrive in one place.Buvvo gives you a single, unified Conversations inbox for all your WhatsApp chats โ you manage orders separately on the Orders page.
2. Add your products
Your catalog is what the assistant quotes prices from, so it is worth setting up early. You have two ways to add items:
- One at a time โ add products manually from Dashboard โ Products. This is perfect when you are starting out or adding the odd new item.
- All at once โ on Growth and Scale you can import your whole catalog from a spreadsheet. See Bulk product upload for the CSV format.
How many items you can list depends on your plan โ see Plans and pricing for the catalog limits.
3. Take your first order
- A buyer messages your number. The AI assistant โ built for Nigerian English and Pidgin โ greets them and answers common questions using your catalog.
- You confirm the order.Orders are managed on the Orders page, separate from the chat inbox, so you always know what needs fulfilling.
- The buyer pays with a secure link.Buvvo generates a Monnify-hosted secure payment link for the order. The buyer taps it, pays, and you can see the payment status on the order.
