Pricing & plans
Is Buvvo free?
Yes. The Free plan costs ₦0 and stays free — there is no trial clock on it. It includes 50 AI replies a month, 1 seat, and a catalog of up to 20 items. Free is a permanent floor: even if a paid plan lapses, your shop drops back to Free rather than being locked.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new shop starts on a 7-day Growth trial with no card required. When the trial ends you can pick a paid plan, or simply carry on for free — an unconverted trial rolls down to the Free plan.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, you can move between Free, Growth, Scale whenever you like from your billing settings. Upgrading raises your limits right away. If you downgrade or stop paying, your shop moves to the Free plan and its limits apply from then on.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing gets deleted and you are never locked out. A lapsed paid plan simply drops to the Free plan, so you keep a working inbox, your catalog (up to the Free item limit stays active), and 50 AI replies a month. Upgrade again any time to restore the higher limits.
Do prices include VAT, and what currency are they in?
All prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) — for example ₦5,000/month for Growth or ₦25,000/month for Scale.
For questions about VAT or a tax invoice for your business, contact support and the team will confirm the details for your account.
Do you charge per message?
No. Buvvo is a flat subscription — ₦0 on Free, ₦5,000/month on Growth, or ₦25,000/month on Scale(less if you pay yearly). AI replies are included up to your plan’s monthly allowance, and your buyers are never charged to message you.
AI replies
What counts as an AI reply?
An AI reply is one message the assistant writes to a buyer on your behalf — answering a product question, sharing a price, or moving an order along. Messages you type yourself never count, and a buyer’s incoming messages never count. Only the assistant’s AI-written messages draw down your allowance.
What happens when I hit my AI reply cap?
When you reach your allowance (50 on Free, 200 on Growth, unlimited on Scale), the assistant stops writing AI replies until the window rolls forward.
Your shop does not go quiet. Buyers still get an automatic response from the standard guided menu — they can browse, track an order, and reach you. Every WhatsApp message still lands in your inbox, and you or your team can reply by hand as much as you like. What pauses is the AI writing for you, not your ability to sell.
Buvvo counts replies over a rolling 30-day window (or since your current billing period began, whichever is shorter), so the allowance refills continuously rather than resetting on a fixed date. You can also upgrade to lift the cap straight away.
What languages does the AI speak?
The assistant is purpose-built for Nigerian English and Pidgin, which is what it handles best. You can also switch it to Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa in AI settings — those rely on the underlying model’s general multilingual ability and are not specially tuned the way English and Pidgin are.
